Alade College was founded in January 1995 by very Revd Joseph Alade Taiwo. The objective of the founder of the college was to offer the best and solid education to boys and girls from the whole federation of Nigeria as well as from overseas countries.

The college is situated side by side with Alade Nursery / primary school (former Biodun Nursery /Primary School), Ajasse-Ipo Road. It is nine kilometres from Offa town. The surrounding is very severe, devoid of distraction and pollution, overwhelmingly suitable for human abode.

The college provides science / Arts / Commercial oriented education and provides a wide range of interests within a disciplined frame- work. The subjects offered include: English Language, Yoruba ,Mathematics, Physics, Literature in English, Agricultural Science, Foods and Nutrition, Technical Drawing, Typewriting, Further Mathematics, Economics ,Commerce, Accounting, C.R.S, I.R.S,Government, Fine Arts and French- all in Senior Secondary Classes.

On the other hand, the school offers the following subjects in the Junior Secondary School:Mathematics, English Language, Social Studies, Integrated Science, Agricultural Science, Introductory Technology, Home Economics, C. R.S, I. R .S, Fine Art, French, Business studies, PHE and Yoruba
